Whew, it has been a long time since i have updated the blog. There is a lot to catch up on and i think i will just summarize a little and move on. The pictures in this post are just a mish mash of the recent cameral upload. Chris and the girls loved building a snowman in our backyard.
Delaney and Grumpy playing ball in the backyard on Easter.
Blake and Adriana playing in the Sandbox over Easter
On Chris' birthday the girls wrapped up random things from around their bedrooms and the house and gave them to Chris. It was really cute! They had it all wrapped in their blankets and they were so excited to show Daddy their presents.
This is the cake I made for Chris' birthday. I only had so many mini kit kats so it said Happy Day rather than Happy Birthday. None the less it was a yummy Spice cake.
Delaney is always SO excited to give presents and tell someone happy birthday. You can see the girls wrapped up pillow pets, the night light lady bugs and other fun, useful items :)
This has to be my new favorite picture. It is absolutely heart warming to see these two together. They are buddies all the time and their bond is amazing. This is just one glimpse of the special relationship they share. I tear up every time i see it.
Delaney and her Nana :)
Dressing up is a favorite thing to do in our house. So is making silly faces!
Adriana loves to wear this ladybug costume from Delaney's 2nd halloween! It looks adorable on her!
This picture encapsulates a classic Delaney face! She is SO mischeivious! I love it
Laney, loves to dress up as 'Punzel and other princesses. This is her favorite costume as of late.
Chris is in the process of building a little pool at the bottom of the slide for the girls to fall into. This is one version of it where Adriana fell and goosed her tush pretty good!

This is also a new fave picture of mine. Adriana's smirk is awesome and sooo cute! I love this girl,

As always we are on the go all the time! Summer has kept us busy with swim lessons, playing at the splash park 2x a week, long walks and the list goes on! Chris has been quite busy this summer even though we had a really late start to summer. Chris has been working on our backyard a bit more. He is adding the water slide, and possibly a new pond and also a new walkway. He keeps himself busy that is for sure :). Adriana got through Kindergarten and wanted to do summer school! This girl has such a love of learning and always desires to know more. She is curious and always thinking. She wants to know why things work the way they do and how this happens and that. Any time a challenge is presented no matter the size, she has a solution rather quickly. I love her mind, her innovativeness and her willingness and desire to help anyone and everyone. She is the sweetest girl you could ever meet. She adores her little sister and tries to help always. Sometimes to a fault. She also can be quite mischievious and pick on her sister. Adriana is SO excited for her baby brother to come in December. She wanted a girl, but honestly it didnt phase her one bit that it was a boy. She can't wait to hold him and love him. She is always asking what he looks like at this stage, and how can he breathe when he is surrounded by fluid...? Delaney is an awesome kiddo, but she is at the pain in the tush stage too. She is almost 3. She too is a very sweet and lovey girl, who is incredibly smart also! She does love to give her sistar a hard time! She is very opinionated and she is LOUD! She makes her needs and wants known :). She is fully potty trained for the 3rd time now. She feels the need to revert every now and again. She is definitely my challenge child (so far). She loves to learn, she likes to do "homework" and write her letters. She wants to go to school with Adriana so badly. Delaney is more of a princess type girl. She loves pools, and water and being outside, however she doesnt like to be dirty or sprayed with anything. She LOVES to spray others but not get sprayed herself! She likes to finger paint, key word being FINGER paint. She doesn't care for her whole hands to get messy. When Adriana is at school she is a very different little girl. She loves the 1:1 attention she gets. She too, is excited for baby brother to come along, but when he gets here we will see how she feels. :) Both of the girls have done awesome with swimming lessons this year and have worked really hard to improve their skills. I am so proud of them. Not much is going on otherwise. I am still working full time for Sorenson Communications. I like it and the flexibility i have with my schedule. I enjoy where i work for sure, but i can't wait for some time off when the baby comes. We are due 12/27, so we still have some time yet. :) Until next time!
